Prima (meaning “first”) is an advanced ensemble and the principal performing group within the North Carolina Girls Choir. Prima Choir offers a challenging and exciting artistic adventure into choral music. This ensemble features girls from upper elementary through high school, and continues to develop good singing techniques and reading skills, but in addition, they work on part singing and performance practice to a much higher level. Our girls grow and improve their singing and presentation skills as they rehearse semester after semester, year after year.

Prima is the flagship choir for the organization, representing us through collaborations, performances and tours.
Prima’s rehearsal times are below:
- Tuesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
- Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
