The NCBC has instilled, developed and enhanced the love of choral music in hundreds of Triangle region children since 1971-72. The choir members are selected through an audition process, and move on to more advanced ensembles (Concert Choir and Prima Choir) once they demonstrate the high level of musicianship and artistry that is required for our performing choirs. Each season, the ensemble participates in a variety of programs—from collaborating with Symphony, Orchestras and Ballet Troupes to community performances to concerts conducted by the Choir Director Robert Unger with the assistance of the Associate Choir Director David Cole.
The inspiration and love of music the choir experience teaches NCBC members, and the high-quality artistic level they achieve in advanced ensembles allow our choristers to grow as musicians and artists.
We are grateful for any level of sponsorship to support our ability to offer scholarships to the deserving choir applicants, to grow our programs, to enrich the Triangle region and North Carolina, at large, with the majestic beauty of choral music performed by boys and girls of NCBC.
